The easiest way to play golf in Singapore is obviously to become a member of one of the golf courses. But if the hefty membership fees causes you to balk there are many ways to wrangle a game of golf:

• Play on public courses – notably Marina Bay
• Choose your friends wisely
• Walk on- many courses allow non-members to pay and play (although not the top courses). Rates are high but might still be a better bet than putting out large sums of money for a membership.
• Check social clubs (which have cheaper membership fees) for reciprocal rights with golf clubs which allow you to play (with some restrictions)
• Check with your credit card company for golf privileges (particularly Amex)
• Join Golf kaki (http://www.mygolfkaki.com/)
• Play neighbouring courses in Malaysia and Bintan/Batam in Indonesia

SPA  presents Pakistan Day Golf Event  – 23 March 2014

“SPA is holding its annual Pakistan Day Golf Event on 23^rd March 2014 at the scenic Horizon Hills Golf and Country Club. The tournament will conclude with a dinner and prize distribution ceremony.  The tournament is open to both adults and children who have been on the golf course.  The venue for the Iskander Open Tournament, the Horizon Hill Golf course is a challenging and yet forgiving course. The lush green fairways, water hazards, sand bunkers and the immaculately kept green make every hole an interesting one. In the past the event has been a good day out for both the regular and casual golfer.

 Amir Zahidi (gross winner) and Osman Durrani (net winner) were the winners in 2012.  Amir is looking to defend his title this year.
